A hacker pirated a webcam girl’s pictures, so she decided to sell them

Being a cam girl isn’t always easy. They are increasingly more prey to hacking attempts on their computers, illegal distribution of their content over the internet, or having their identities revealed. To protect their personal information and the fruits of their labour, they are forced to take security measures, but the phenomenon of blackmailing is so prevalent that their efforts fail to curb it.

Lindsay Dye, a webcam model and photographer, was a victim of one of these despicable people. Her blackmailer had extracted photos from her videos to make posters he intended to resell to customers. For this reason, she decided to counter attack by selling the very photos that were subject to the threats and blackmail. She now sells her pictures through her personal website, and the works of art featured in the images are a way to earn from her work. This is part of an on-going project entitled “Buy Me Offline”.

Lindsay is frustrated to see all of her efforts ruined by these unscrupulous people. It’s not the first time she has been the victim of blackmail, she frequently receives emails from men who threaten to resell or post her content if she doesn’t submit to their desires.
