SpankChain Wants to Establish Itself as the New Blockchain for the Adult Industry

Sex workers all over the world are already using the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to avoid discrimination by the financial services industry, as some adult stars sometimes have their bank accounts closed or frozen without warning (see the Chase Bank story). And electronic wallets like PayPal prohibit any transaction related to sex. Many actresses, boutiques, start-ups and entrepreneurs in the sex industry face this kind of discrimination, even though their work is perfectly legal.

Furthermore, actors in the adult industry are usually required to use the services of companies who charge them very high fees to accept credit card payments from their customers. For example, epoch charges no less than 15% for each credit card transaction.

To overcome this problem, several blockchain projects are launching cryptocurrency initiatives specifically designed for sex workers.

The latest such project is SpankChain, a decentralised payment technology that is accessible to everyone. Spankchain will create a limited offer of 1,000,000, 000 SpankCoins, which will enable customers to pay for the services of adult websites, webcam girls, or others, in complete anonymity.
